Layla's Delicacies

Layla’s Delicacies is their way of sharing sweets from Tunisia with everyone in America. It all started when they immigrated to the US. Their love for authentic Tunisian pastries couldn’t be satisfied anymore because they couldn’t find places that sold things like Tunisian Baklava, Samsa, or Kaak Warka. So they took the matter into their own hands and started baking sweets in their own apartment.

Initially, it was just for themselves. Then they started sharing them with family and friends. Their response was overwhelmingly positive. They were even willing to pay money to have their sweets at their own family and friend gatherings! That’s when the idea of Layla’s Delicacies came to their minds. Layla is their daughter. She loves baking. This business is their way of keeping that love alive and keeping her connected with the Tunisian tradition of sharing sweets with the people you love.
